Leaves of the Milan 1864 edition of La Divina Commedia annotated by Chapman and interleaved with MS translations and notes in the hand of Chapman and Minna Timmons Chapman. Also includes a folder of miscellaneous manuscripts and typescripts of memoranda and brief notes removed from Chapman's books.

Chapman was a literary scholar and Harvard professor.
