2 linear feet (4 boxes)Some of the images are not from WCF's term as governor-general of the Philippines, but from other periods of his life. There are extensive notes by WCF on the verso of a few of the images.
Includes portrait and group photographs of WCF and his friends and colleagues, drawings, printed maps of the Philippines, watercolors, picture postcards, printed materials, and a cartoon of WCF. Some items are signed by the image subject.
Biographical / Historical
Forbes was an American business and government executive. He served as governor-general of the Philippines, 1909-1913, and ambasador to Japan, 1930-1932.
