The collection of preparatory material for the unproduced afrofuturist film, The Thorgods of Ra, includes drawings in pencil, ink, and watercolor by Chuck Siler; a treatment by Ed Henderson from a story by Troy Davis, with two other treatments; a list of special effects; development budgets; and notes.

Biographical / Historical

The Thorgods of Ra was an unproduced science fiction film to be produced by Cassius Weathersby. It may have been inspired by Sun Ra's 1974 science fiction story Space is the Place.

Charles E. "Chuck" Siler is an African American cartoonist and civil rights activist.
