.08 linear feet (1 box)68 color photographs of rhythm and blues singer Bobby “Mr. TNT” Duke with members of his band; a few photographs show casual scenes, but the bulk of them are of performances. Some photographs have the photographer's stamp, and some are marked "proof".
Biographical / Historical
Bobby "Mr TNT" Duke's band was called Bobby Duke & The Dukes. It included Black women back-up singers and dancers, as well as Black musicians. The photographs were taken in the Boston (Mass.) area.
