Business correspondence of George Balanchine, New York City Ballet, School of American Balletand the George Balanchine Trust. The majority of letters are written on Balanchine's behalf by: his secretary at the School of American Ballet, Natalie Molostwoff; general manager of the New York City Ballet, Betty Cage; his personal assistant Barbara Horgan; and other New York City Ballet officials. Also includes carbon copies of replies, photographs, programs, clippings, newsletters, notes, invitations, and posters.
