General note

The seventh of his domestic magazines written "for the amusement of his brothers and sisters" containing many drawings by the author. A description of this volume was written by him in his preface to item MS Eng 718.1 below.

Also with mailing wrapper addressed in the hand of Miss Louisa F. Dodgson, the sister of Lewis Carroll, addressed to her brother and enclosing this volume.

Bound in cloth with black leather corners and spine.
