I. Compositions by Marguerite Yourcenar.

Scope and Contents

Yourcenar's compositions are arranged in one alphabetical sequence by title. In most cases the title is the title that MY or Grace Frick [GF] wrote on the item. Material in this series includes: holograph manuscripts, clippings, commonplace books, diaries, galley proofs, lists of corrections for various editions, miscellany, notebooks of sources, notes, page proofs, photographs, printed materials, sketches, translations, travel journals, and videotapes. Material is heavily annotated by Yourcenar and Frick and sometimes that handwriting is so similar that it is difficult to distinguish.
