Scope and Contents Correspondence to Jane Gray from her sister, Susan Jackson, (1864 October 2 and undated) regarding her son Patrick, who was a soldier in Grant's Army. Jane and Asa traveled to Washington, D.C. in 1865. Jane stayed longer to visit with her brother, Charles Greely Loring, and see military camps.
