The collection contains pencil sketches, some with watercolors, by Paul Maury of fungi collected in Mexico from May, 1890 through February of 1891. Collection numbers in red ink, and localities, and dates in Maury's hand. Plate numbers, descriptions, determinations, and plate numbers added by N. Patouillard.

The collection contains pencil sketches, some with watercolors, by Paul Maury of fungi collected in Mexico from May, 1890 through February of 1891. Also includes 2 handwritten lists of collection numbers with the caption, "Champignons. N. Patouillard."

Collection numbers in red ink, and localities, and dates in Maury's hand. Plate numbers, descriptions, determinations, and plate numbers added by N. Patouillard.

Plates numbered 1-19, 19 bis, 20-43, 43 bis, 44, 44 bis, 45, 45 bis, 45-3, 46-56.

Plates 43, 43 bis, 44, 44 bis, 45, 45 bis, 45-3, 46, and 50 are photographs.

Title devised by cataloger. Specimens mistakenly reported as lost by W.A. Murrill in the Journal of the New York Botanical Garden, volume 12, page 52, 1911.

The Archives of the Farlow Herbarium of Cryptogamic Botany houses unique resources including personal papers, institutional records, field notes and plant lists, expedition records, photographs, original artwork, and objects from faculty, curators, staff, and affiliates of the Farlow Herbarium.
