Scope of the correspondence

The II. Correspondence file has been divided into 2 separate series: general correspondence and correspondence re: reservation cancellations. All correspondence between the Lamms and other parties was placed into the general correspondence file if it had no apparent relationship to other subgroups throughout the finding aid. Most of the correspondence in the General correspondence series consists of letters from friends or guests of the Lamms. The series called "Correspondence re: reservation cancellations" includes all correspondence canceling guests reservations when the Lamms decided to close the lodge in May of 1970
