Scope and Contents

Handwritten letter from Edith Sawin (Mrs. Melvin E. Sawin) to Mildred Bliss sending her enclosed leaflets to help Mildred plan her garden for the blind. Edith says the garden was designed and staged by The New England unit of The Herb Society and was shown at the Boston Flower Show in March where it won a number of awards. "Perhaps you can adapt it to your needs ...". The leaflet includes a list of plants. Ediths sends Mildred contact information for persons at the New England Unit of the Herb Soceity and Herb Society of America for records of research for gardens.
