Scope and Contents

Typescript letter with handwritten signature from Beatrix Farrand to Anne Sweeney tells her she is writing Miss Draper to inform her of Mildred Bliss's approval for $100.00 in petty cash to buy prints. She hope James Bryce is enjoying his holiday in Florida. She is delighted to hear that Sweeney was successful in getting plates from the New York Botanical Gardens. Handwritten note added probably by Anne Sweeney, "Answered 2/16/40, told about Miss Draper? & Maryland architect, also abt [about] ck [check] recd [received] for $100."
