Letter from Beatrix Farrand to Mrs. Robert Woods Bliss, Dumbarton Oaks, Washington, D.C., March 18, 1938

Scope and Contents

Copy of typescript letter sent by Beatrix Farrand to Mrs. Robert Woods Bliss [Mildred Bliss] with an enclosed photograph of the sequoia tree plaque which Johnny? has just sent in. She thinks the plaque and its setting will please Mildred. Photograph not with copy of letter.

Beatrix asks if Mildred could let her know if the early days of April are as inconvenient as she thinks they are likely to be for a visit to Dumbarton Oaks.

She reports that the sun has now come out after the floods in California. She and Max have not been inconvenienced or experienced hardship from them as much as the people who are poor.
