Scope and Contents

Report of Progress for the Reef Point Garden Corporation, Bar Harbor, Maine and the Max Farrand Memorial, 1947-1948 dated August 25, 1948 and Report of Progress, 1948-1949 dated August 31, 1949. Both created by Beatrix Farrand providing a status update on the garden program to Reef Point corporation members and donors.

The reports address completed, in-process, and future projects and alterations needed for the house and garden. Included are lists of rare plants and unusual plants at Reef Point and lists books added to the Max Farrand Library at Reef Point. The reports mention individuals who have been essential for carrying out the education program, and individuals who have visited Reef Point to review the public education program.
