IV. Boston City Hospital Records, 1928-1983
Scope and Contents
Series IV contains correspondence, lists, memoranda, reports, and photographs from Finland's direct involvement in changes over fifty-five years of the Harvard Medical Unit and Thorndike Memorial Laboratory at Boston City Hospital. Symposia, conferences, and committee work addressing the 1964 Boston City Hospital Centennial are especially well documented. There is also a small section of correspondence, lists, and grant material recording Finland's involvement with the Channing Laboratory after his official retirement from Thorndike Memorial Laboratory in 1968.
