Scope and Contents
Consists of collected correspondence, reprints, reports, publications, articles, drafts, data, patient records and other items related to various topics. Subject files contain: articles and correspondence on asbestos, lead, oxygen therapy, and reptilian pulmonary ; reprints on such topics as hyaline membrane disease and jaundice; articles and draft articles about the history of Children’s Hospital, Boston; and the history of women in medicine. Correspondence principally consists of letters between Avery and Dr. Leon Eisenberg, former Professor of Social Medicine and Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
