Scope and Contents
Consists of correspondence, course materials, photographs, articles, and reprints related to courses taught by Mary Ellen Avery. Correspondence includes memoranda about Harvard Medical School courses, as well as correspondence about Johns Hopkins University fellows. Course material consists of rosters, syllabi, case studies, reprints, and reading lists for pediatric, respiratory pathophysiology, and integrated human physiology courses. Teaching records also include photographs of Avery at work at Children’s Hospital, Boston. Note that there are some additional course and lecture materials filed in Series IV Lectures.
