Consists of edited and unedited drafts, notes, correspondence, reprints, and copies of foreign language articles translated by Higgins. Topics in the writings include nutrition, metabolism, and respiration. The series also contains the outline of a chemistry lecture given by Higgins at Swarthmore College in 1908.
