E. Time Capsule Letters, 1963.

Scope and Contents

Letters written by staff and others involved with the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in 1963 and addressed to their counterparts in the year 2013. The letters were written in honor of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and placed in a time capsule intended to be opened in time for its 100th anniversary. These letters were opened by the individuals holding the equivalent positions in late 2012.

Access requires advance notice. Access to unpublished administrative records is restricted for 50 years from the date of creation. Patient information is restricted indefinitely. Restricted records, except restricted patient photographs, are noted in the finding aid. Researchers may apply for access to restricted material.
