Scope and Contents
Consists of 127 graphic photographs of severely wounded men, before, during, and after treatment. A few images of splints and braces are included. Although unlabeled and undated, the images are from World War I. Many of these images are the same as those in the Greenough Lantern Slide Collection [M 5539] which belongs to the Warren Anatomical Museum. They are likely images from the Harvard University Service American Ambulance, Neuilly-Sur-Seine, France in April, May, and June of 1915.
