II. Committee Records, 1902–1980.

Scope and Contents

Series II consists of records of the activities of internal Peter Bent Brigham Hospital committees. These records include bound volumes of meeting minutes of the hospital Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee of the Staff, and other hospital leadership committees. The alphabetized records of the results of specific votes made by the committees regarding various aspects of hospital operations, such as building projects, funds allocation, salary increases, acceptance of gifts, and many others are contained in this series.

Conditions Governing Access

Access requires advance notice. Access to unpublished administrative records is restricted for 50 years from the date of creation. Patient information is restricted indefinitely. Restricted records, except restricted patient photographs, are noted in the finding aid. Researchers may apply for access to restricted material.
