Scope and Contents
Series III contains EPR Jr.’sresearch records and publications (published and unpublished drafts), correspondence, notes, highlighted reprints, and photographs. Topics include brain death, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Also includes notes and correspondence from EPR's research in neuropathology, and drafts of EPRJr.’s original writings, which are filed with materials on CJD. EPR Jr.’s case notes ofpatients suffering with PML are often accompanied by specimen photographs, and depict the development of the disease, its symptoms and treatment. There are additional correspondence from EPR Sr.'s editorial work, as well as article submissions to professional publications, included in this series.
