Scope and Contents

Minot served as a member and on the boards of a number of organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Association for Cancer Research. This series primarily contains correspondence with the Macmillan Company regarding Minot's as an editor of medical texts; correspondence concerning the Boston Committee on Medical Émigrés and the Emergency Committee in Aid of Displaced Foreign Physicians regarding his efforts to find jobs for physicians attempting to escape Europe in the years before World War II; and records from the various boards of which he was a member.
