Scope and Contents

Series V contains correspondence, meeting minutes, and committee notes that are the result of EHK’s role in the establishment of the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. The East Boston Health Center was one of fourteen centers nationwide that participated in the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) Hypertension Detection and Follow-Up Program (HDFP). Also includes statistics and meeting minutes from EHK’s involvement as principal investigator for the Boston clinic in the NIH/NHLI HDFP study; related writings are located in Series IX.
