This collection is divided into three series. Series I consists of photocopies of Stetson's outgoing correspondence, which is arranged chronologically. Most of these letters could more aptly be described as reports as they are not addressed to specific individuals, though Stetson did write the names of the individuals to whom the reports were sent on the first page of each report. Most of them describe Stetson's experiences in Japan, and they were published in 1976 by Rev. Stetson's wife, Margaret Stetson, in Letters Written By The Rev. Clifford Stetson: Universalist Missionary in Japan, 1922-1933. Series II consists of photographs and includes albums of photographs taken in Japan and Korea. Series III contains personal material.
