Sydney Bruce Snow (1878-1944) received his AB from Harvard College in 1900, his STB from Harvard Divinity School in 1906, and honorary DDs from Meadville Theological School in 1923 and the Royal Hungarian Francis Joseph University in 1938, respectively. He was ordained to the Unitarian ministry in Palo Alto, California, in 1906. During his career he served parishes in Palo Alto, California; Concord, New Hampshire; King's Chapel in Boston, Massachusetts; and Montreal, Canada. He was the president of Meadville Theological School from 1928 to 1943, as well as director of the American Unitarian Association from 1934 to 1940.
