Biographical / Historical

Warren Skinner (1791-1874) was born in Brookfield, Massachusetts, and was ordained a Universalist minister in 1825 in New York. During his career he served churches in Alstead, Jaffrey, and Walpole, New Hampshire; Andover, Chester, Ludlow, Plymouth, and Springfield, Massachusetts; and Cavendish, Vermont. In 1830, he published a collection of sermons under the title On the Coming of Christ.
