Sermons, 1906-1954, comprise the bulk of the collection, along with notes for related addresses. The majority of the sermons were delivered at the Theodore Parker Unitarian Church, West Roxbury, MA. Arnold's course work, collected pamphlets, journals, and other written records are also contained in the collection.

Biographical / Historical

Reverend Harold Greene Arnold, 1882-1968, received his Ph. B. from Boston University in 1905 and his S.T.B. from Harvard Divinity School in 1908. Arnold was ordained in 1908 at Bridgewater, MA and served a church there until 1913. He then served the Theodore Parker Unitarian Church in West Roxbury, MA from 1913 to 1948. In 1948, Arnold retired and served as Minister Emeritus at the Theodore Parker Unitarian Church until his death in 1968.
