This subseries consists photographs and negatives in which the photographer was attributed to or credited. These photographers are presumed to have been hired externally or through an agency such as DDB advertising agency, or may have sent photographs in for various reasons such as contests or exhibits. This subseries consists of photographs originally arranged by topic; some of which are thought to have been transferred to the Polaroid Corporate Archives from the Design, Advertising, Marketing and Communications departments. Subjects of the photographs include still-life, portraits, people, celebrities, scenes, Polaroid products including ID cards, photomicrographs, medical imagining and crime scene photographs.
