Biographical / Historical

Powers and Weightman were a chemical manufacturer with a laboratory at Schuylkill Falls, Pennsylvania. Powers and Weightman succeeded the firm of John Farr and Company in 1848. William Weightman and Thomas H. Powers were the active members. Reorganizations took place in 1866 and 1878. Affairs were wound up in 1899.
