Although there is a ledger for the years 1875-1876, the records date chiefly from 1900-1940. The collection includes cash books, invoice books, sales books, freight and expense books, check registers, inventory records, and miscellaneous account books. The firm engaged also in the making and canning of mince meat, and a subsidiary, Delano Potter and Company, packaged and distributed spices under the Three Crows label.
