Scope and Contents
General account books, letter books, and unbound papers of an iron foundry, C. G. and H. M. Plimpton of Walpole, Mass., which specialized in axles, wagon springs, and hoes. Some of the daybooks contain grocery accounts. Two earlier volumes are an account book, 1811-1826, of a foundry operated by Henry Plimpton and a journal, 1845-1847, of Henry Plimpton and Son, makers of satinet.
