Series VI: Harvard Business School, Emeritus, 1990-2011

Scope and Contents

After retiring from HBS in 1991, Paul R. Lawrence remained active in teaching, research, writing, and professional activities. This series includes research material related to two books he wrote during this period Driven: How Human Nature Shapes our Choices (2002) and Driven to Lead: Good, Bad, and Misguided Leadership (2010). The series also contains examples of research and writing for working papers and articles. Many correspondents submitted samples of their work for Lawrence's comment and review and this series includes these works with the letters discussing them. Lawrence also collected relevant articles from newspapers, magazines, and journals and collected them in both themed and general folders. This series is arranged alphabetically by folder title.
