Logbook maintained by Henry Daggett, first officer, kept on board the William Wirt from New Bedford, Massachusetts to the South Pacific. Jesse Luce was master of the ship. Entries include course, winds, and daily remarks on weather, longitude and latitude, repairs to the ship, and sightings of other ships.
