Scope and Contents
A 1697 contract between Elizabeth Bollingham of London and widow Sarah Ustice and her son William Ustice of Boston, Massachusetts, in which Elizabeth Bollingham rented one hundred acres of Boston "arable" pasture land to Sarah Ustice for an annual rent of twenty-five dollars "in good & lawful money of New England."
