Scope and Contents
Daybooks, journals, ledgers, cashbooks, accounts, trial balances, notes and bills receivable, inventories, time books, payrolls, 12 boxes of unbound papers, including a brief typewritten history of the company, and inventories of the New York, San Francisco and Chicago offices, 1902-1918. In addition there are some 200 illustrated catalogs and 17 scrapbooks.

128 linear feet (512 volumes)Biographical / Historical
Silversmiths, Taunton, Massachusetts. The firm's history can be traced back to Babbitt & Crossman (1824-1829) which was succeeded by Crossman, West & Leonard. One year later this firm was succeeded by the Taunton Britannia Manufacturing Co. In 1837 this firm became Leonard, Reed & Barton, and this was succeeded in 1840 by Reed & Barton.
