Series III. Other Hobart family papers, 1737-1941

Scope and Contents

Contains the correspondence and records of Hannah Pratt Hobart (1732-1804), wife of Enoch Hobart, Sarah Potts Hobart (1770-1826), wife of Robert E. Hobart, and their sons, Nathaniel P. Hobart, Robert Enoch, Jr., and John Henry Hobart (1775-1830), as well as other family, dated 1737-1941. Included are estate documents, accounts and receipts, and some professional papers of Nathaniel P. Hobart. This series further includes papers of the Hobarts'' extended relations: Anthony, Hillegas, Potts, Pratt, Rutter, and Smith families.
