Scope and Contents
Contains a letter from Stephen Collins, administrator of the estate of William Barrell, to Jonathan Amory, in 1776, discussing his progress settling the estate, inventories of goods he was taking, and the contents of Barrell's records, which he was sorting. Items he found were a letter from Barrell's brother, merchant and shipowner Joseph Barrell (1739-1804), regarding William's share in a privateer ship and accounts of flour Joseph had not shipped. Removed from Box 4, folder 26.
