Subseries A. Cases and Teaching Notes, 1969-2001, undated
Scope and Contents
This subseries consists of HBS cases and teaching notes used in Howard H. Stevenson's teaching and course preparation. Some cases and teaching notes are finalized while others are in the draft stage; many also contain notes, correspondence, and other material relating to the development and writing of the case or teaching note. Of particular importance are the cases of Head Ski Company, R and R Associates, Heather Evans, Mark Edwards, and Eric Weston. Stevenson highlighted entrepreneurs in the Head Ski Company and R and R Associates cases; the other three cases were written to address under-served groups and topics: Heather Evans for women, Mark Edwards for minorities, and Eric Weston for failure. These cases were written to show students that someone they could identify with could be a successful entrepreneur.
