Series I. Photographs, 1865-1940

Scope and Contents

As the focal point of the collection, this series contains 582 stereographs and 1314 photographs, most of which relate to locomotives, railroads or some aspects of the railroading industry. The collection came arranged by Harry Chick into subject based "bundles". These bundles form the subseries and the titles of the subseries were kept to reflect the creator's original arrangement and description.
