Series VIII. Advertising posters

Scope and Contents

Series contains a variety of nineteenth-century and twentieth-century American advertising posters, as well as a group of 37 Italian advertising posters from the 1950s, advertising Olivetti typewriters, Singer Sewing Machines, various food products, and travel. The Italian Posters were previously identified as Exhibit 113. Some of these posters are available to view in VIA, Harvard University's Visual Information Access catalog.
