Daybook of sales of rum, molasses, coffee, wood, dry goods, salt, fish, aniseed, and farm produce by John Heard in 1784-1788, sometimes paid in barter of labor or service, and expenses related to shipping. Names in the volume include Comeno Morris, Francis Hovey, Daniel Lumos, John Wait, Nathaniel Dodge, Ebenezer Standwood, Anna Dodge, Edmund Stacy, General Michael Farley, Aaron Day, Revered Joseph Dana (1742-1827), Jonathan Ingersoll, Jeremiah Staniford, and Jabish Farley.
