Biography
T. Jefferson Coolidge was born in Boston in 1831. He graduated from Harvard with a BA in 1850 and MA in 1853. He served as president of th Boott Manufacturing COmpany before serving as United States Minister to France during President Harrison's administration. He was an overseer at Harvard from 1886-1897. He was the great-grandson of Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States.
