Biography

Calvin H.P. Pava, an expert on adapting workplace environments with new technologies, was born in Chicago. He received a BA from Colgate University and a doctorate in advanced systems planning design from the Wharton school of the University of Pennsylvania in 1980. He joined the Harvard Business School as an assistant professor in 1982. Pava left HBS in 1987 to become a partner at Cole, Gilbourne, Pava & Arioshi, a Palo Alto venture capital firm specializing in new technology companies. He died in 1992.
