Harvard Glee Club posters
Founded as a separate organization in 1858, the Harvard Glee Club was first organized in 1833 as part of the Pierian Sodality. The collection consists of posters documenting concerts performed by the Harvard Glee Club and its a cappella subset, Glee Club Lite, in conjunction with other Harvard musical groups including the Radcliffe Choral Society, Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, and the Bach Society Orchestra.
Records of the Harvard Glee Club: general correspondence, 1919-1927
Founded as a separate organization in 1858, the Harvard Glee Club was first organized in 1833 as part of the Pierian Sodality. The collection consists of a portion of the series of general correspondence maintained by the organization, documenting concerts, tours, administration, finances, and other topics.
Henry Edwards Scott personal archive
This collection chiefly chronicles Henry Edwards Scott, Jr. (1900-1990) studies in the fields of chemistry, engineering sciences, English, mathematics, physics, and music at Harvard University primarily from 1918 to 1922, and his participation in student organizations including the Pi Eta Club and the Harvard Glee Club. A drawing and a commercial advertisement demonstrate Scott’s career as an artist.
