Scope and Contents: Collection consists of John Mills Browne's student notebooks from his time at Massachusetts Medical College of Harvard University (later Harvard Medical School). In these notebooks, Browne records lectures by Walter Channing, John Ware, and Jacob Bigelow. Collection also includes Browne's pharmaceutical and household remedies recipe books, 1848 to 1852.
