She tells him the stumps should be left short and removal of the brush is necessary so it doesn't become a fire hazard.

Tree Cutting Agreement discussed in correspondences from Beatrix Farrand to Mildred Bliss dated January 30, 1940 (B:BF 1940.01.30) and one dated February 2, 1940 (B:BF 1940.02.02) and a response from Mildred Bliss to Beatrix Farrand dated February 6, 1940 (B:MB 1940.02.06). Beatrix Farrand opposes the signing of the agreement and Mildred Bliss concurs.
