Letter book consisting of handwritten copies of letters sent from the mercantile firm Stanton, Fiske and Nichols from August 3, 1826 to January 26, 1829. The letters primarily detail sales, shipping, and market prices of goods traded by the firm, including tea, gin, coffee, sugar, wine, indigo, brandy, and opium. Also discussed are insurance claims and other business affairs.
